Delivery of 2,080-TEU containership “MAERSK NOTODDEN”

Maersk announced revisions to its Dry Port Surcharge – Import (DPI) and Dry Port Surcharge – Export (DPS) for cargo moving through Hungary.

Imabari Shipyard has delivered the 2,080-TEU containership MAERSK NOTODDEN. The vessel was completed at the Head Office & Imabari Shipyard on September 9, 2025.

The ship is a container-only vessel with a capacity of 2,086 TEU. It features up to two lashing bridges on deck. The vessel can carry a large number of frozen containers and supports hazardous cargo under the IMDG Code. Three deck cranes allow cargo handling at ports with limited infrastructure.

Environmental performance has been enhanced with energy-saving additives, high-efficiency propellers, and extra-hull paint to reduce friction. The vessel meets the latest EEDI requirements. It also complies with Tier III NOx regulations, using an EGR system and SCR for generators. Ballast water treatment and recycling measures are also included.
