CMA CGM to introduce new peak season surcharge in Dakar port

Marseille-headquartered box carrier CMA CGM will implement a peak season surcharge (PSS) from North Europe, Mediterranean, North Africa, North America, Latin America, Middle East and Indian Subcontinent to the port of Dakar in Senegal.

The surcharge will be €200/GB£175/US$210 per container and will apply only to dry cargo.

CMA CGM will start implementing this surcharge from 13 November until further notice and from 5 December for cargo with North American and Latin American origin.
