CMA CGM strengthens logistics coverage in Congo

CMA CGM aims to enhance its coverage in the Democratic Republic of Congo by expanding its current feeder system.

The French carrier will introduce an innovative intermodal solution for the capital of the country Kinshasa. This new offering seamlessly connects with the ASAF, MIDAS 1, and EURAF 1 services, extending the company’s inland reach to Kinshasa.

CMA CGM provides two options for customs clearance to ensure flexibility and an improved experience:

  • Option 1: Ramp delivery in Kinshasa with customs clearance at Kinshasa TCKP and 15 days of free time.
  • Option 2: Door delivery to Kinshasa with 10 days of free time at the Lufu depot border for customs clearance.

This solution offers an inland transit time of just nine days.
