CMA CGM is implementing Rate Restoration Initiative 4 (RRI04) for shipments from North European and Mediterranean ports destined for the United States, Canada and Mexico, as well as inland destinations accessible via these ports.

Commencing 1 May 2024, unless otherwise specified, a Rate Restoration Initiative 4 (RRI04) will be enforced on tariff or service contract rates for all cargo within the scope of this tariff.

The rate adjustments are as follows:

  • Out of Gauge containers are excluded from this rate

North Europe includes North France, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Scandinavia, Poland, and Baltic countries, and selected ports in North Spain (Bilbao, Gijon). The Mediterranean includes Malta, Italy, Spain (Algeciras, Valencia, Barcelona, Sagunto), ports in the Adriatic region, North Africa, and Morocco, excluding Egypt.

Destinations include ports along the US East Coast, US Gulf Coast, Canada, and Mexico, as well as all inland destinations accessible via these ports.
