Hapag-Lloyd is applying a Congestion Surcharge

Hapag-Lloyd will apply a Congestion Surcharge (CGD) for all imports to Shuwaikh, Kuwait.

Effective September 25, 2018 for all origins (excluding USA and other US territories) and October 20, 2018 for USA and other US territories, the CGD, until further notice, will be as follows:

  • USD 150 per TEU

The Ocean Tariff rates as well as Bunker-related surcharges, Security-related surcharges, Terminal Handling Charges (THCs) remain unchanged respectively as announced and can be found here.

Other local charges and contingency surcharges may apply in addition.
