Following the announcement of the definitive merger agreement between ZIM Integrated Shipping Services Ltd. and Hapag-Lloyd, ZIM’s President and CEO has moved to reassure customers that operations and service commitments will remain unchanged.

According to the company’s President and CEO, Eli Glickman, all obligations and contractual commitments will continue to be fully honored in accordance with their terms. Service levels will remain unchanged, and customers can expect the same reliable, high-quality service during the transition period.

Glickman also indicated that operational collaboration with Hapag-Lloyd will remain limited to existing vessel-sharing and slot charter agreements, as has been the case to date.

ZIM stressed that maintaining customer confidence is a priority and that it is committed to ensuring continuity and operational stability while the transaction progresses, subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals.
