Yang Ming leases 6,000 reefer boxes

Yang Ming Marine Transport Corp has leased 6,000 units of 40-ft high-cube PrimeLINE® reefers, of which 500 are equipped with Lynx™ Fleet devices, as part of a renewal programme for its refrigerated container fleet.

This is the first order in 25 years from Carrier Transicold, increasing the Taiwanese company’s reefer capacity.

“Carrier Transicold and Yang Ming Line have a long-established relationship that spans over 30 years, since our first order of reefers and we are excited to reignite this relationship with the current business,” said Leow Eng Meng, Carrier Transicold’s sales director in Asia of global container refrigeration.
