X-Press Feeders and COSCO SHIPPING Lines forge strategic partnership

X-Press Feeders Group has entered into two significant agreements with COSCO SHIPPING Lines.

Signed on 18 June 2025 by Francis Goh, Chief Operating Officer of X-Press Feeders, and Irene Cheng Jin, Deputy Managing Director of COSCO SHIPPING Lines, the agreements aim to enhance global network coverage, improve coordination between mainline and feeder operations, and boost service reliability.

Under the partnership agreement, the two companies will explore collaborative opportunities in feeder services across key global regions, including Asia, the Middle East, the Mediterranean, North Europe, and Latin America.

In parallel, a leasing agreement grants COSCO SHIPPING Lines the first option to charter newbuild vessels from X-Press Feeders. These vessels could be deployed in joint services, further aligning operational efficiencies.

This strategic partnership comes at a time when the shipping industry is facing mounting pressure to meet stringent decarbonisation targets, adapt to shifting trade patterns, and respond to increasing demand for integrated logistics solutions.

Francis Goh emphasized the shared vision, stating that by aligning the capabilities and vision, they aim to deliver more efficient, customer-centric solutions.
