Wärtsilä Gas Solutions will provide fully integrated cargo handling, fuel gas supply, and boil-off gas reliquefaction systems (Compact Reliq – CRS) for a new LNG bunkering vessel being built at Jiangnan Shipyard for Shanghai International Port Group (SIPG) Energy Shanghai Co.
The integrated systems are designed for optimal efficiency, building on Wärtsilä’s proven performance from over 200 LNG bunkering operations in Shanghai.
Barry Yang, Wärtsilä Gas Solutions General Manager for China, said: “We are collaborating closely with the owner and shipyard to implement system improvements that will elevate vessel performance.”
Equipment delivery is scheduled for 2026, with vessel commissioning expected in summer 2027.
