Wan Hai newbuild boxship completes maiden voyage to Qingdao Port

Qingdao Port Group in China conducted a grand inaugural voyage celebration event for the 13,200 TEU vessel Wan Hai A01.

Wan Hai Lines’ vessel has a total length of 335 metres, a width of 51 metres, a draught of 16 metres, and a top cruising speed of 22 knots.

Wan Hai A01 will provide service from the Far East to the West Coast of South America.

According to a company’s statement, the container ship is equipped with completely balanced twisted bulb rudders, and a pre-swirl fin, and achieves the highest degree of EEDI (Energy Efficiency Design Index) requirement for phase III in advance.
