Wan Hai Lines awarded container shipping line of the year on Far East trade

Wan Hai Lines honoured the “container shipping line of the year – Far East trade lane” award by the seventh edition of the East Coast maritime forum (ECMF) 2022, concurrent with the Eastern Star Awards, which was held on 24 February in Kolkata, India.

The criteria of the award include volumes handled in the Far East sector, year-on-year growth, global reach, documentation procedures, the beginning of new services, schedule integrity and customer satisfaction.

Since its launch of India service routes in 1996, Wan Hai Lines has now deployed a total of 11 services in the territory, covering all major seaports across the Indian coastline, and plans to expand more comprehensive service coverage.

By the end of March, the Taiwanese shipping line will add CI7, a new service between China, Vietnam and East India, to further strengthen the trade between Asia and East India.
