Wallenius Water Innovation has named Magnus Mörtberg as its new Managing Director, effective 1 September. He will succeed Ulf Arbeus, who is retiring after a long career with the company.
Mörtberg joined Wallenius Water Innovation in January 2025 as Sales Manager. Before that, he worked with Oslo-based start-up EnergyNest as Project Development Manager. His background also includes an international career in senior commercial roles across industrial companies. He holds a PhD in energy and furnace technology.
Simon White, Deputy CEO of Soya Group, thanked Arbeus for his contributions and welcomed Mörtberg to his new position. “We look forward to Magnus’ drive and energy as a leader, while continuing to strengthen the company’s market position,” White said.
