Vuxx Shipping, a China-based Russia-focused operator, has been named as the charterer of six of the 22 container ships that were sanctioned by the US Treasury for being linked to the Iranian Shamkhani family.
Linerlytica’s report states that Vuxx had chartered the feeder vessels Aeolus, Cerus, Dhanu, Gauja, Rob, TB Anping. The ships are serving Vuxx’s South America-Russia and Mediterranean-Baltic feeder routes.
