Uthalden Maritime sells two boxships, Foroohari gets one

German shipping company Reederei Foroohari has bought a 6,500 TEU container ship from Uthalden Maritime Management, the maritime subsidiary of Harald Moraeus-Hanssen-led private investment firm.

The 2009-built vessel MH Hamburg was purchased in July 2018 by Uthalden Maritime Management and today (17 October 2023) delivered to its new owners.

This is the second boxship sale in less than two months for Uthalden, which has also announced the sale of the 3,500 TEU container ship, Noro. “The vessel was purchased in early January 2021,” said the company.
