The vessel WAN HAI 503 continues cargo discharge operations under close supervision by professional teams.

Crews are removing damaged cargo and debris from Cargo Holds 2 and 4. Some cargo must drain of firefighting water before removal. Teams are also cutting damaged hatch covers to allow access.

Pumping of firefighting water continues. Crews have discharged about 10,329 tonnes so far. The process remains slow because cargo residue blocks pumps and pipe openings. Teams are clearing blockages as they occur.

As of 30 November 2025, teams had discharged an estimated 1,347 containers. About 375 containers remain onboard. Damaged containers make identification difficult, so figures remain approximate.

WAN HAI Lines and onsite experts are working to speed up operations while maintaining safety standards. The company thanks all authorities, partners, and response teams for their support.
