U.N. Ro-Ro, Opening of new Patras Service in Greece

Patras stopovers; one of the most important ports at the southern east of Greece, commences with the first sailing which would depart from Pendik on 22 June 2018 Friday. Through Patras Line sailings, U.N. Ro-Ro’s customers would be able to transport their units between Turkey – Greece and Greece – Europe. With this line, transit time and cost advantages would be maintained to the companies which are doing transportation through Greece.

Patras stopovers would commence with one sailing per week from both ends and the frequency would be increased to two sailings subsequently. Third rotation can also be added to the sailing schedule according to demand.

Patras Line sailings would commence with 22 June 2018 Friday night Pendik departures. Patras arrival of this departure would be on Sunday mornings weather permitted. From Europe, Trieste departures would be on Saturdays early in the morning. Patras arrival of this departure would be on Sunday afternoons weather permitted. Accordingly, the first sailings from Pendik to Patras would be on 22nd, 29th of June and on 6th of July. From Europe, first sailings from Trieste to Patras would be on 30th of June and 7th of July. Afterwards, Patras Line would continue with weekly two rotations on round trip basis from both directions.

Port expenses included one-way freight rate for complete units and semi–trailers would be EUR 550 and port expenses included one-way freight rate for all type of containers would be EUR 450 on Pendik – Patras and Patras – Pendik voyages.

You can reach the sailing schedule and freight rates through this link. Bulk ticket & customer rebate programs and other subsidies given would not be valid with the current Patras Line freight rates. Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF rates) are already included in the freight rates.

İDO Campaign, which is valid on our Pendik – Trieste line, will also be valid on Patras-Pendik line for all the customers who uses Eskihisar-Topçular ferry of İDO that are carrying standard units and containers from Yalova, Bursa, Bandırma, Balıkesir and Eskişehir.

Transportation of drivers to Patras Port shall be via bus of Kamil Koç or via our vessel accordingly with the capacity of vessel cabins.

Pendik – Patras and Trieste – Patras bookings would be done through U.N. Ro-Ro agencies at the terminals as usual. Greece originated bookings can be done through our booking agency in Greece (Alpha Intermodal). Contact details of all agencies can be found below.

The first one-way ticket of our intermodal train lines to and from Trieste would be free of charge for the first time intermodal customers on Patras – Trieste and Trieste – Patras lines. For more information on this and booking requests please send an e-mail to unrail@unroro.com.tr.

With the cooperation between U.N. Ro-Ro and Grimaldi Lines, all customers would be able to use connecting lines from Patras to many ports in Italy, Spain, Tunisia and Morocco via Italy. Port expenses included freight rates with Patras connections for Pendik – Bari / Brindisi would be EUR 800, Ancona / Venice EUR 1.200, Tunisia – La Goulet over Brindisi / Salerno EUR 1.200, Malta over Brindisi / Catania EUR 1.650, Barcelona over Brindisi / Civitavecchia EUR 1.650, Morocco – Tangier over Ancona / Savona would be EUR 2.100.
