Unifeeder has announced the launch of its new India Med Service (IMD), marking a significant expansion into Northern Egypt and Türkiye.
The new route strengthens connectivity between the Indian Subcontinent and the Mediterranean, creating more efficient trade corridors and broader access across key markets.
The IMD service, which kicked off eastbound on July 5, will operate on a 42-day rotation and offer sailings every 10 days.
Both dry and reefer cargo are accommodated on the service, with direct connections to major Indian ports like Nhava Sheva and Mundra, as well as key Mediterranean gateways including Port Said East, Alexandria, and several Turkish hubs.
