The explosion of a Maersk container in Incheon New Port on 28 August has raised concerns that false declarations by some used car exporters may lead to similar accidents again.
It has been revealed that it is common for forwarders to load used cars, as well as other miscellaneous items, such as household goods and electric appliances, into containers to maximise the space usage.
