ULD Shipping launches Med–Russia link

According to DynaLiners, Turkish carrier ULD Shipping has introduced a new service connecting the East Mediterranean with Russia’s Black Sea ports. The Russia–East Med Service (REM) began operations in August.

The service runs every three weeks with a single 630 TEU vessel. Its rotation covers Alexandria, Beirut, Mersin, Istanbul (Ambarli), Novorossiysk, Yilport, and returns to Alexandria.

The service is expected to benefit a range of cargo types, including containerized food products, construction materials, manufactured goods, and machinery.

With this new link, ULD Shipping strengthens trade between the Eastern Mediterranean and Russia, offering shippers a direct and predictable route. The service aims to support regional cargo flows and provide an alternative option amid shifting market dynamics.
