Taiwanese shipowner TVL Marine is set to introduce a new regional service connecting Hong Kong and Taiwan, with operations scheduled to begin in June, according to DynaLiners.
The service will be operated by a single vessel with a capacity of approximately 1,000 TEU, targeting short-sea trade demand between the two markets.
The rotation will include Hong Kong, Keelung, Taichung, Kaohsiung, before returning to Hong Kong.
With this launch, TVL Marine aims to strengthen intra-Asia connectivity and provide a dedicated link supporting cargo flows between Hong Kong and key Taiwanese ports.
