According to DynaLiners, Monaco-based Transocean Maritime Agencies has ordered two 3,100 TEU vessels at New Dayang Shipbuilding, each priced at USD 45 million and scheduled for delivery in 2028.
These newbuildings come in addition to two 1,900 TEU ships currently under construction at Guangzhou Wenchong, also planned for 2028.
The move reflects Transocean’s continued diversification beyond bulkers and tankers, reinforcing its strategic entry into the regional container shipping segment.
