Toll orders 40+ Konecranes trucks

Global transportation and logistics company Toll Group has ordered over 40 lift trucks for their Australian operations through Konecranes’ Australian distributor United Forklift and Access Solutions.

This big order consists of a wide range of forklift trucks, container lift trucks and reach stackers, all tailored to meet Toll’s strict requirements and the harsh Australian climate and remote areas. All the vehicles will be fitted with TRUCONNECT® Remote Monitoring and numerous tailored features that help enhance safety, productivity and reliability.

Toll placed their order in the third quarter of 2018 and will start to receive delivery early 2019 at their sites across Australia. United’s nationwide network of service branches and on road vehicles will provide maintenance and technical support.

Patrik Lundbäck, Konecranes’ Sales Director, Lift Trucks says: “We are very happy and honoured to have received such a large order from Toll. This is one of the biggest orders ever for Konecranes lift trucks, and Australia is one of our largest markets. Through our distributor, United Forklifts and Access Solutions, Konecranes has delivered more than 500 lift trucks to customers in Australia in the last 20 years.”

Trent Osborne, General Manager of Marketing, Sales and Distribution at United Forklift and Access Solutions says: “We had a very strong offering with tailored innovative quality products from Konecranes, this combined with our national service reach across Australia gave Toll the solution and support they needed.”
