Toll Group has officially launched a new cross-docking facility in Queanbeyan, developed in collaboration with Coca-Cola Europacific Partners.
This strategic initiative strengthens CCEP’s expanding regional distribution operations throughout New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory.
Operating under Toll’s management, the facility has commenced full operations, with seven CCEP vehicles successfully loaded and deployed from the location yesterday morning. The specialized cross-docking operation aims to optimize product flow, improve delivery performance, and facilitate CCEP’s regional expansion.
Through daily linehaul services connecting CCEP’s Eastern Creek location to Queanbeyan, the facility improves regional logistics connectivity while minimizing handling duration and boosting operational reliability.
Phillip Parsons, Director of Logistics at CCEP, commented that Toll serves as one of the reliable logistics partners, and this new cross-docking facility will enable them to extend their reach to additional customers throughout the ACT and neighboring regions.
Michael Freestone, Senior Vice President Retail Transport & Grocery at Toll Group, added that this initiative exemplifies the successful collaborative relationship with CCEP and demonstrates their mutual dedication to developing an agile distribution network that facilitates CCEP’s expansion while providing genuine value to customers.
