Toll Group launched ten electric trucks in China to cut emissions and support a major customer’s supply chain, advancing its net-zero 2050 target.
The EVs, built by FOTON, replace diesel vehicles on shuttle routes between factories and regional distribution centres in Lingang Free Trade Zone and Jiaxing.
Each truck travels over 300 km per charge and recharges in 1.5 hours, reducing carbon emissions by an estimated 218 tonnes per year.
Backed by Shanghai government incentives, the project strengthens sustainable logistics and accelerates Toll’s decarbonisation efforts in China.
