Terminal gate fees in Montreal

On Friday July 13, 2018 Montreal Gateway Terminals issued a notice advising that effective September 17, 2018 they will be extending their hours of operation for truck gates from 6am to 11pm.

The extension of truck gate hours is an initiative by MGT to improve overall productivity and to offer the logistics community the flexibility of prolonged business hours.

Effective September 17, 2018, once full extension of truck gate hours from 6am to 11pm is in effect, Montreal Gateway Terminal will assess a gate fee of 35 CAD per laden container picked up or delivered by truck in order to fund the extended gate service.

This charge will be applicable on any shipments that has a truck move in or out of the Montreal Gateway Terminals.
