Tanger Med Port Complex handled 11,106,164 TEUs across its four container terminals in 2025, an 8.4% increase from 2024. Growth was driven by the commissioning of the Terminal TC4 extension operated by APM Terminals.

Passenger Activity: The port served 3,220,422 passengers and 895,341 vehicles, growing 5.7% and 5%, respectively. The Marhaba campaign ran smoothly, supported by the full rollout of the firm-ticket system, which regulated flows and ensured efficient crossings.

  • 327,569 vehicles from Renault (Melloussa/SOMACA)

  • 39,751 vehicles in transshipment
Declines reflect production adjustments and global automotive market shifts.

Overall Cargo: Total cargo tonnage reached 161 million tons, up 13.3% year-on-year.

Vessel Calls: The port recorded 16,686 vessel calls, down 4.5%, mainly due to RoPax fleet replacements with higher-capacity vessels. The port welcomed 1,319 mega-ships over 290 meters, an 8.4% increase, aided by call optimization to boost efficiency and service quality.

The 2025 results highlight Tanger Med’s operational excellence, infrastructure efficiency, and leadership across the Mediterranean and Africa, serving national and international supply chains.
