T. Parker Host acquires Transmarine

T. Parker Host has acquired Transmarine Navigation Corporation, expanding its reach to become the largest independent tramp ship agency in the country. The acquisition brings together two long-established players in the maritime industry and significantly strengthens Host’s coverage along the Pacific Coast and into Hawaii.

Transmarine, a West Coast-based ship agency headquartered in Long Beach, California, has built a strong reputation over its 85-year history.

“This acquisition aligns with our strategic vision to deliver seamless, high-touch maritime solutions across every major U.S. port. By joining forces with Transmarine, we are expanding our footprint into the Pacific and enhancing our ability to serve customers with the same responsiveness, precision, and trust they’ve come to expect, now at every major port in the US, every tide and every terminal”,said Adam Anderson, Chairman and CEO of T. Parker Host.

“HOST is the ideal partner to carry our legacy forward,” said Leslie Clements, Managing Director at Transmarine.

The combined entity now boasts coverage at every major U.S. port, and clients can expect high-touch, locally driven service supported by Host’s national digital infrastructure. The integration also strengthens the agency’s logistics capabilities, promising faster vessel turnaround and improved cargo handling.
