
SWS has delivered the 114,000 dwt Aframax tanker “P. MARSEILLE” to Greece’s Performance Shipping, completing a three-vessel series. The naming ceremony brought together representatives from Performance Shipping, SWS, Cory Brothers, Lloyd’s Register, Jiangsu Financial Leasing, Jiangnan Shipbuilding Group, CSSC (Hong Kong) Shipping Leasing, and China Shipbuilding Trading.
Performance Shipping Chairperson Aliki Paliou recited the naming declaration. The CEO of Performance Shipping thanked all partners and highlighted the series’ focus on technological and environmental benchmarks. He noted the vessels comply with current maritime regulations and are ready for future decarbonization trends.
SWS Chairman Chen Gang said the delivery marks the successful completion of the Aframax series. The vessel reflects optimized craftsmanship, energy efficiency, and reliability, showcasing SWS’s technical expertise and dependable delivery. He expressed gratitude to all partners and looks forward to future collaboration in global energy transport.
The “P. MARSEILLE” strengthens the partnership between SWS and Performance Shipping and reinforces SWS’s position in the international tanker market.
