SWS has delivered the 158,000 dwt crude oil tanker Sea Phoenix to Frontline following a signing ceremony on November 17. Senior representatives from Frontline, China Shipbuilding Trading Co., Ltd. (CSTC), and SWS attended the event.
Sea Phoenix is the first 158,000 dwt tanker SWS has built for Frontline. The vessel is classed by the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS). Its delivery marks the start of SWS’s serial construction program for this ship type and highlights the shipyard’s growing capability in the large tanker sector.
