Swiss WorldCargo joins enhanced partnership

Swiss WorldCargo has announced its participation in the established joint business agreement between Lufthansa Cargo and United Cargo, expanding cargo customers’ access to increased flexibility and transport solutions through enhanced direct transatlantic connections between Europe and North America.

Lufthansa Cargo and United Cargo have maintained a successful joint business partnership over recent years, allowing both carriers to collaborate across multiple operational areas, including sales activities, customer management, and network coordination between European and United States markets.

Beginning August 1, 2025, Swiss WorldCargo will formally become part of this alliance, reinforcing the partnership’s capabilities.

Through this expanded joint business framework, United Cargo, Lufthansa Cargo, and Swiss WorldCargo will collaborate closely across the previously mentioned operational areas.



The carriers will coordinate cargo operations connecting over 200 US destinations with Zurich and Frankfurt hubs.

All joint activities will maintain full adherence to applicable regulations, including competition laws governing the European Union and United States markets.

Alain Chisari, Head of Swiss WorldCargo, stated that this partnership represents a crucial step in enhancing the collaborative efforts, expanding their international network, and providing customers with greater flexibility and connectivity.
