The weekend US airstrikes on three Iranian nuclear facilities have pushed the maritime community onto what one operator called maximum alert.



Regional naval commands warn that Tehran could lash out at commercial traffic, especially vessels with US ties, and the Joint Maritime Information Center is telling ships transiting the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden that the risk of attack is now high.
