Sohar Port and Freezone Signs Strategic Partnership with Youth Center

SOHAR Port and Freezone signed a strategic partnership agreement with the Youth Center to implement joint programs and initiatives across North Al Batinah under the company’s corporate social responsibility umbrella.

The partnership focuses on investing in young Omani talent, building skills that match market needs, and creating pathways to entrepreneurship, employability, and community participation.

Raid Al Rubai, CEO of SOHAR Freezone and Deputy CEO of SOHAR Port, said that the goal is to provide a supportive environment that stimulates innovation, nurtures entrepreneurship, and connects young people to real opportunities, aligning with the human development pillars of Oman Vision 2040.

He added that the programs and initiatives launched under this partnership will build capabilities at professional and entrepreneurial levels, providing knowledge and practical experience that enable youth to lead change and contribute actively to the development of their governorates.
