SITC opens next-gen logistic hub at Qingdao

SITC International Holdings has announced the inauguration of its new logistics hub, named the SITC Global Shipping Logistics Center, in the Port of Qingdao.

SITC International will develop maritime and land-based smart logistics and digital logistics through artificial intelligence and big data, after the official establishment of the new centre on 28 November.

Relying on the new development pattern of domestic and international dual circulation mutual promotion, SITC International’s centre will help Qingdao’s shipping, trade and financial coupling development and enhance SITC’s core competitiveness to accelerate SITC’s innovation and development.

Additionally, SITC expects the new logistics hub to contribute to the high-quality development of shipping logistics, by establishing the “Intelligent Warehousing and Logistics Base”, “Northeast Asia Shipping and Global Crew Management Center”, “SITC International Investment Platform” and “Global Port Logistics Intelligent Management Platform”.

At the inauguration event, SITC International and Qingdao Free Trade Zone Management Committee formally signed a strategic co-operation framework agreement.
