Shipnext has joined BIMCO’s new Technology Partnership Programme. The company can now also offer BIMCO charter parties through a new licensing agreement. The move will enhance digital capabilities for Shipnext users and expand BIMCO’s SmartCon solution in the shipping industry.
BIMCO, the world’s largest international shipping association, launched the programme to promote digitalisation in maritime operations. Shipnext, a leading digital shipping platform, has been steadily growing its network and services.
Last year, Shipnext partnered with the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS), giving members access to data on fleets, ports, communications, and its AI-based freight-matching service. Joining BIMCO’s programme reinforces Shipnext’s commitment to innovation and making global shipping more efficient.
