Shandong Marine Corporation is set to expand its Malaysia–Indonesia Express (MIX) service by extending the route to Chittagong, Bangladesh, according to DynaLiners.
The service enhancement will include the deployment of an additional 370 TEU vessel alongside the existing 700 TEU ship, increasing overall capacity on the route.
Following the expansion, the MIX service will operate on a rotation calling at Port Kelang, Chittagong and Belawan.
The move is expected to strengthen connectivity between Southeast Asia and Bangladesh, while providing additional capacity and improved service options for regional cargo flows.
