As DynaLiners reported, SeaLead Shipping will provide one of four vessels on the new KI8 service of CNC Line (CMA CGM), called SEA7. CNC Line will charter slots on the service, which it markets as the China Indonesia Korea Express (CIK).

The SEA7 route will connect major Asian ports, including Busan, Inchon, Shanghai, Ningbo, Jakarta, Semarang, Ho Chi Minh, and back to Busan. The service is designed to strengthen trade flows between East Asia and Southeast Asia while improving schedule reliability for shippers.

This collaboration allows SeaLead to expand its footprint in the regional container market. By operating on SEA7, the company will provide additional capacity and enhance cargo handling efficiency across the route. CMA CGM and SeaLead are targeting faster transit times and closer coordination between feeder and mainline services.

The launch of SEA7 reflects growing demand for direct connections in Asia and aims to support the flow of goods across key industrial and consumer hubs. Both carriers are focusing on operational excellence and customer service to maximize the value of this new service.
