SeaLead launches Türkiye–Italy express service

SeaLead has unveiled the Türkiye–Italy Express, a new direct, weekly service linking major Turkish ports with key Italian gateways.

The route strengthens SeaLead’s fast-expanding Mediterranean and European network and cuts transit times for shippers moving cargo between Asia, Türkiye, Italy and onward European markets.

The rotation will be: Gemlik – Izmit – Istanbul → Aliaga – Salerno – La Spezia – Genoa – Gemlik. Departs will take place from Gemlik on 25 June 2025.

Reliable schedule integrates with SeaLead’s wider Mediterranean, European and Asian loops, including the WARM and 5CX services that run via the Suez Canal.

Kadir Oruc, Regional Managing Director, Europe & Mediterranean, SeaLead, commented that the launch of TIE deepens coverage across critical corridors and delivering agile, efficient service options for Mediterranean and European shippers.
