Savino Del Bene has inaugurated a new logistics hub in Peschiera Borromeo, in the hinterland of Milan. The facility features 12,000 m² of warehouse space, 3,000 m² of offices, and a 400 m² customs warehouse, serving as the group’s Northern Italy reference point.
A 250 m² area of cool rooms (+4°C/+39°F; +15°C/+59°F) supports controlled-temperature products for the food and beverage sector. The hub’s strategic location, one hour from Malpensa Airport, two hours from Genoa, and 15 km from central Milan, enhances supply chain efficiency across Central and Northern Italy.
The facility also incorporates sustainability features, including a 500 kW photovoltaic plant, transforming a former industrial site into a modern, multifunctional hub. The building hosts Savino Del Bene’s Milan branch and subsidiaries Albatrans, Aprile, and General Noli, enabling operational synergies and resource sharing.
