Following the launch of its 65-ton fuel-powered version earlier this year, SANY has introduced a fully electric alternative, the SRSC5035E. This 50-ton-class reach stacker is purpose-built to support the fast-growing containerized energy storage sector.

The SRSC5035E is designed to handle standard 20-foot and 40-foot ISO energy storage containers with ease. It can stack up to six containers high, offering strong performance in compact spaces.
SANY has equipped the electric stacker with a 512 kWh swappable battery. It supports both plug-in charging and quick battery swapping. This setup provides over seven hours of continuous operation, a full shift for many port and terminal operations.

One of the standout features is its ultra-low energy use. The machine consumes just 1.8 kWh per container move. It also regenerates about 0.4 kWh each time the boom lowers, improving overall efficiency.
With the SRSC5035E, SANY continues its push toward sustainable equipment solutions for ports and logistics. The model offers high performance without the emissions, making it a strong option for operators looking to cut fuel costs and reduce their carbon footprint.
