Samudera Shipping Line has announced the restructuring of its Singapore–Malaysia/Thailand SGX service, splitting the route into two separate service loops in order to improve regional connectivity, according to DynaLiners.

Under the new configuration, the existing service will be divided into two dedicated routes serving different destinations.

The Songkhla Express (SGX) will continue to link Singapore with the Thai port of Songkhla, maintaining the connection between the regional hub and southern Thailand.

At the same time, the company will introduce the new Kuantan Express (KSX), which will connect Singapore with Kuantan in Peninsular Malaysia.

The restructuring is expected to provide more focused service coverage and improved operational efficiency for cargo moving between Singapore and key ports in Malaysia and Thailand.
