Samudera-Imoto feeder venture acquires first ships

Singapore-based Samudera Shipping Line has acquired two feeder ships from Japanese feeder operator Imoto Lines that will be assigned to their joint venture, Blue Ocean Shipping.

The latter would start operations in June, tapping on an anticipated growth in demand for feedering due to the reduction of direct calls to Europe.
