Sallaum Lines has taken delivery of MV Ocean Legacy, the latest Pure Car and Truck Carrier to join its Ocean Class fleet, further advancing the company’s focus on modern tonnage and lower-impact maritime operations.

The new vessel entered service just one month after MV Ocean Explorer, underscoring the pace of Sallaum Lines’ Ocean Class programme and its emphasis on efficiency and sustainability.

Constructed at China Merchants Jinling Shipyard (Jiangsu), MV Ocean Legacy measures approximately 199.90 metres in length and 37.7 metres in breadth, with a total carrying capacity of 7,400 vehicles across 13 cargo decks. The vessel is equipped with LNG storage capacity of between 36 and 37.8 tonnes, supporting extended endurance and reduced emissions on long-haul voyages.

The ship features LNG dual-fuel propulsion combined with energy-efficient design solutions aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions and other air pollutants, while maintaining operational reliability and fuel flexibility.
