SAAM Towage achieves major milestone with cross-border towing operation

SAAM Towage has successfully executed a major and complex towing and logistics operation, marking a significant milestone in the company’s capabilities.

This extensive maneuver, which involved collaboration across five countries—Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Chile—highlighted the strength of SAAM Towage’s operational network and its exceptional coordination across international teams.

The operation required 115 days of navigation by the tug Águila III, covering over 8,000 nautical miles.

Raimundo Grez, Special Services Manager for SAAM Towage Chile & Peru, highlighted the professionalism and outstanding coordination of SAAM Towage’s teams—not only in technical execution but also in logistics and administration.

This achievement underscores SAAM Towage’s integrated capabilities across the Americas, its commitment to delivering tailored, client-focused solutions, and the strength of its people.
