SAAM reports record $80.4M net income in 2025

SAAM reported record financial results for 2025, with net income reaching $80.4 million and EBITDA totaling $216.9 million, up 15% from 2024. The company’s revenue grew 9% year over year, reflecting strong performance across its logistics operations in the Americas.

Dividend Proposal for Shareholders

The company’s board proposed an additional dividend of $60.4 million to shareholders. Combined with the $20 million interim dividend paid in December 2025, the total distribution will reach $80.4 million from 2025 earnings.

Strong Performance Across Business Segments

The towage division, SAAM Towage, delivered strong results. Revenue exceeded $526 million, growing 9%, while EBITDA reached $187 million with a 35.6% margin.

In air logistics, Aerosan generated more than $105 million in revenue. EBITDA increased 16%, supported by improvements in service quality, safety, and operational efficiency.

Key Strategic Developments

During the year, SAAM signed an agreement to acquire the remaining 30% stake in Intertug, which will give the company full ownership and strengthen its presence in Colombia and Mexico.

The company also launched Trapananda, the first electric tugboat in Latin America, now operating in **Puerto Chacabuco, Chile. The project highlights SAAM’s focus on sustainable maritime operations.

Leadership Transition

In early 2026, Hernán Gómez became CEO, succeeding Macario Valdés, who moved to new responsibilities at Quiñenco.
