Rhenus strengthened its partnership with Britax Römer by delivering an integrated logistics solution across Europe. The setup supports higher volumes and growing complexity as Britax Römer scales operations.
Britax Römer restructured its sourcing and production network. It needed a logistics system that could handle increased demand. Rhenus designed a scalable and stable solution to meet these needs.
The solution centers on Rhenus’ site in Wesel, Germany. It connects ocean freight from China to Rotterdam, inland waterway transport, centralized warehousing, and road distribution across Europe. Inland transport via Contargo links Rotterdam to Wesel efficiently.
Rhenus coordinated multiple business units to deliver one integrated system. This replaced fragmented services with a unified, end-to-end logistics model. The approach improved visibility, consistency, and execution during a complex transition.
Wesel plays a key role in the network. Its location near major ports, waterways, and road links supports inbound flows, storage, and outbound distribution.
The project shows how integrated logistics can support companies during supply chain changes. It helps manage higher volumes and expand operations across Europe.
