RCL shifts RCP2 slot allocation to CNC’s China–Philippines service

Regional Container Lines (RCL) is ending the voyages for two specific ships immediately. This decision follows the sudden escalation of war in the Middle East.

Regional Container Lines (RCL) has transferred its slot allocation from CNC Line’s Japan–Philippines (JP8) service to the carrier’s China–Philippines (CP2) service, which it will continue to market as RCP2, according to Alphaliner.

RCL’s participation remains focused on the Shenzhen–Philippines leg. As a result of the shift, the main operational change is the replacement of Batangas with Cagayan de Oro in the service coverage.

Under the revised setup, the RCL-marketed RCP2 service now calls at Shenzhen (Shekou), Davao, Cagayan de Oro and returns to Shenzhen.

The adjustment refines RCL’s Philippines coverage while maintaining its partnership with CNC Line on the route.
