PSA Ventures and NIDLP launch supply chain partnership

PSA Ventures and the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP) have announced a strategic collaboration to foster innovation and support emerging startups.

The partnership is focused on developing and scaling Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) with clear commercialization potential, driving transformative technologies to shape the future of global supply chains.

This alliance will prioritize innovation in critical areas, including cutting-edge port automation, green energy transitions, and data-driven digital solutions, with the ultimate goal of improving efficiency and sustainability throughout the supply chain.

“This collaboration is a testament to our shared commitment to fostering technological
advancements that will redefine logistics and supply chain management,” mentioned Eddy Ng, Group Head of Operations and Sustainability at PSA International.

Eddy Ng added: “Just as nodes in a network interconnect to enable seamless data exchange, PSA Ventures and NIDLP will serve as critical links bridging Singapore, Saudi Arabia and the rest of the world. By leveraging our combined expertise, we aim to accelerate the adoption of transformative solutions that benefit global trade and sustainability.”

The partnership centres on three key areas of cooperation:

  • Market Access and Technology Piloting: Enabling startups to test and refine innovative solutions in real-world operational environments, paving the way for successful market entry.
  • Knowledge Sharing and Mentorship: Facilitating the exchange of expertise, industry insights, and best practices through structured mentorship and collaboration programs.
  • Joint Investments: Driving growth by co-investing in high-potential technologies and solutions to achieve scalability.
  • Both parties will also explore opportunities for inter-government funding support where applicable, further reinforcing the foundation for long-term growth and innovation.

Eng. Suliman Almazroua, CEO of the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP), commented: “At NIDLP, we are committed to driving innovation that shapes the future of logistics and supply chain management, with support from the Ministry of Transport and Logistics Services. Our collaboration with PSA Ventures is a pivotal step toward advancing port automation, sustainable supply chains, and digital transformation. By combining our expertise, we aim to develop scalable, high-impact technologies that enhance operational efficiency and accelerate the green energy transition. This partnership reaffirms Saudi Arabia’s position as an industrial powerhouse and a global logistic hub, in alignment with the Saudi Vision 2030.”
