The Premier Alliance’s Transpacific PS5 service shuts down after brief operational period.
The PS5 loop, operated by the Premier Alliance, is ceasing operations just months after its launch, which had already experienced initial delays.
The service’s final sailing is currently in progress, with the last four voyages operating on a bi-weekly schedule.
These concluding rotations have included (or will include) port calls at Qingdao, Ningbo, Long Beach (3 out of 4 voyages), and Los Angeles (1 out of 4 voyages), while bypassing both Oakland and Kobe entirely.
