Prodevelop launches Georgia’s National Maritime Single Window

Prodevelop, in partnership with Hamburg Port Consulting (HPC) and Plisk Consulting, has announced the successful implementation and launch of Georgia’s National Maritime Single Window (MSW).

This digital platform, developed and executed by Prodevelop, represents a significant stride in modernizing Georgia’s maritime operations, fostering transparency and interagency collaboration, and securing its position as a key logistics hub within the Middle Corridor, bridging Europe and Asia.

Aligned with International Maritime Organization (IMO) standards, the MSW marks a pivotal advancement in enhancing Georgia’s Logistics Performance Index. It streamlines communication across maritime stakeholders, reduces paperwork, and promotes operational clarity through transparent data sharing. This development will pave the way for Georgia’s future integration into the SafeSeaNet (SSN) system, positioning the country as a leader in regional maritime innovation.

With the successful launch of the MSW, Georgia joins an exclusive group of maritime communities worldwide that have fully embraced digital transformation. The MSW is expected to significantly elevate the efficiency and security of operations by digitizing information exchange processes and eliminating redundancies. Ship agents, port authorities, and other maritime stakeholders are also expected to benefit from more streamlined workflows, ultimately fostering faster and safer port operations.

Aleksi Akhvlediani, Director of the Maritime Transport Agency (MTA), noted, “One of Georgia’s top priorities is the coordinated functioning of the transport and logistics sectors, modernization/construction of transport infrastructure in line with international standards, harmonization of legislation with international law, and integration into the Trans-European Transport Network.”
