Premier Alliance FY2026 PN1 service update

HMM Daon has a capacity of 16,010 TEUs, a beam of 51 meters, a length overall of 365.16 meters, and a gross tonnage of 152,003. The vessel is part of the Premiere Alliance consortium by HMM, Yang Ming, and Ocean Network Express (ONE), which facilitates imports from China and the Far East.

Ocean Network Express (ONE), Yang Ming Marine Transport Corporation, and HMM have announced updates to the Pacific North 1 (PN1) service under the Premier Alliance FY2026 network. These changes are part of an ongoing effort to optimize network structure, enhance schedule reliability, and reduce transit times amid evolving port conditions and operational challenges.

Key Changes

  • Xiamen Call Discontinued:
The PN1 service will no longer call at Xiamen starting FY2026. The last sailing including Xiamen will be YM PLUM 194E, arriving at Xiamen on April 23, 2026, and Tacoma on May 14, 2026.

  • Alternative Routing Options:

    • Cargo to and from Xiamen may be routed via Pusan using ONE’s or Yang Ming’s in-house feeder services, connecting onward to the Far East Pacific 2 (FP2) or Pacific North 3 (PN3) services.

    • HMM customers can route cargo via Kaohsiung, providing additional flexibility for transpacific shipments.

PN1 Port Rotation

  • Current Rotation:
    Xiamen → Kaohsiung → Ningbo → Nagoya → Tokyo → Tacoma → Vancouver → Tokyo → Kobe → Nagoya → Xiamen

  • New Rotation (ONE/Yang Ming):
    Xiamen → Kaohsiung → Ningbo → Nagoya → Tokyo → Tacoma → Vancouver → Tokyo → Kobe → Nagoya → Kaohsiung → Xiamen

  • New Rotation (HMM):

Benefits for Customers

  • Reduced cumulative delays and improved schedule reliability.

  • Multiple alternative routing options via Pusan or Kaohsiung.

  • Greater network flexibility across the transpacific corridor.

ONE, Yang Ming, and HMM reaffirm their commitment to stable, reliable, and efficient transpacific services, ensuring that customers’ cargo continues to move smoothly despite the adjustments.
